Step-By-Step Guide
Step 1: Identify Field to delete
Once you have navigated to the Customize Fields screen, you can perform the steps below...
1. Click Settings from the top menu bar.
2. Click Customize Fields.
3. Click on the Contacts tab.
4. Click on the ... of the Custom Field.
5. Click Delete
Step 2: Confirm Delete
Please confirm that all dependencies have been removed before deleting.
Attention: This will permanently delete the Custom Field. Please ensure this custom field is not included on any forms, surveys, automations, or other tools in Kizen prior to deleting it.
Please Note:
Before deleting a Custom Field, please check to make sure that this custom field is not:
- Included in any Automations.
- Includes on any Forms or Surveys.
- Used as a merge field in any Email Templates.
- Used by any integrations (through Zapier, Workato, or the Kizen API).
We recommend using the How do I hide a Custom Field? action to no longer display the custom field to end users instead of deleting the custom field. In the event that the Custom Field needs to be re-added in the future, you can simply unhide it. To allow the user to remove a custom field that is deemed no longer necessary.
